Description

Fmoc-L-Lys[C20-OtBu-Glu(OtBu)-AEEA-AEEA]-OH (also known as the Tirzepatide side chain, CAS 2915356-76-0; purity 99%) is a key modified amino acid building block used to introduce a long-acting fatty acid chain into therapeutic peptides such as Tirzepatide. This compound is used in the synthesis of tirzepatide via coupling reactions, either by solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) or solution-phase methods. The C20 fatty acid side chain, AEEA and Glu are sequentially attached to the lysine residue.
